How much time does it take you to refill my inkjet cartridge?

In many cases you won’t have to wait at all! Our stores carry an assortment of the more common cartridges already refilled or remanufactured, ready-to-go. Just trade in your empty and you’re on your way! In general, all cartridges are slightly different but it typically takes between 10 and 15 minutes. All cartridges are fully tested and the print heads ultrasonically cleaned. If for any reason the cartridge does not work properly, there is no charge.

Are recycled cartridges inferior to a new cartridge?

Not at all…our remanufactured cartridges are in no way inferior to new cartridges! We use the best toner and premium inks specifically designed for each individual cartridge, and replace all wearing parts in the toner cartridges. Our extensive quality and testing procedures ensure best print quality every time… and don't forget our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Is there a downside to using a refilled cartridge?

Not at all! There should be no difference in the print quality after the cartridge is refilled.

How much money will I save by refilling?

Your savings may vary depending on your printer. As a rule of thumb, you can expect refills at Cartridge World Lancaster and Cartridge World Lionville to be up to 50% less than the cost of a new cartridge.

Are your inks as good as the original inks?

We use premium inks that are designed to match the chemical and physical properties of the original inks. Our inks are specially formulated for your printer.

Will using refilled cartridges void the printer manufacturer's warranty?

No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits the manufacturer of the printer you are using from voiding the warranty because you use a refilled or remanufactured cartridge. Printer manufacturers will almost always advise you against refilling. The simple reason for this is that manufacturers would like you to buy their expensive replacement cartridges and accessories. Even with the protection of this law, you should also feel confident that cartridges sold, refilled or remanufactured by Cartridge World will meet or exceed your expectations. Our own warranty also extends to your printer on any valid claim!

How many times can a cartridge be refilled?

We have seen evidence of a Canon BC-02 being refilled over 20 times. Typically we believe a black cartridge can be refilled about 6 or 7 times. This all depends on the type of cartridge and how well you take care of your cartridges. We test your cartridges after they have been refilled/re-manufactured, hence our money-back guarantee.

How do I best take care of my printer cartridge?

1. Keep your cartridge out of extreme temperatures. 2. Keep your cartridge stored upright and in its clip until you put it into the computer. 3. Do not let your cartridge sit idle for more than a few months time (in or out of the printer). 4. Do not touch the electronics on your printer cartridge with your fingers as the oil from your hands could damage the electronics.
